Spring Wall Collaboration

The before and after school programs have been working together to contribute to a wall dedicated to celebrating spring! To start our wall, Ms. Ariel, Ms. Alison and Wendy worked together to cover a section of the school-age hallway with blue bulletin board paper. The following day, Wendy painted the grass and Ms. Alison painted a tree. The after school kids made butterflies by painting with watercolors on coffee filters, then tied a pipe cleaner in the center to create the body and antennae. The butterflies turned out beautiful and have come to life, strung up with yarn to fly through the sky of our wall scene. We will be adding more to it in the next few days.
